Desyne Developments had transformed this California bungalow located in Northcote from a plain and humble weatherboard house into a warm and inviting family abode.

The client wanted to have an expansive living area at the rear, a second storey family room (which needed to be recessive and not compete with the original Californian form), and to maintain some of the house's period features.
